About

We'll Always Have Paris .studios. is a one-lady operation imagined by me, Emily Elisabeth Kendall, though my husband Josh is very supportive!

I loved crafts as a child and discovered the craze of scrapbooking at the age of 18. Over the years, scrapbooking turned to card-making for me as well as other mixed media. Over time, family and friends began asking me to make cards here and there for special events like weddings, baby showers and birthdays. It was with the support and encouragement of my loved ones that I was able to shift my focus to creating handmade paper goods not just for myself but for all those around me - a dream come true!

We'll Always Have Paris .studios. was born in 2010. At my first craft festival in November 2010, I was astounded by the amount of strangers who were interested in purchasing things that had been made by me! I was flattered and excited at the idea that I was bringing a smile to someone's face with something I made with my bare hands and imagination. Furthermore, the thought of a card that I made being tucked away as a keepsake in a photo album, or displayed on a mantle or refrigerator, made my heart full.

I love to create. I always have a number of designs available for purchase, but specialize in custom personalized orders. There is nothing like a personalized keepsake! All of my products are 100% imagined and created by me, Emily, and created with love in a smoke-free home.

Finally, for those who are curious, my business name: "We'll always have Paris..." is a famous line from the famous movie, Casablanca. Though I love countless old black and white films, this was actually not the inspiration for the name of my business. When I was 19, I was presented with an opportunity to travel abroad to London, England and Paris, France as a part of my University. It was an unforgettable experience. After I returned, my father mentioned at one point that no matter how many bad days the future may hold, no one can ever take away from me the memories that I got to make in London and Paris, where so many people dream of visiting. And he's right - I'll always have Paris. :)

Thanks for stopping by!
